Collier county police department

My family and I stopped at a gas station to get gas. Usually this type of stop just is a in and out kind of thing, but not this time! We stopped and my husband got out to pump and I got out to see if subways was open. To our disappointment neither were working, meanwhile a Collier county sheriff pulled up and stopped at a pump. Later we found out it was shift change. We jump back in the car to figure out what we would do next. My husband tried to start the car but nothing happened. He tried it several times again, still nothing. He got out of the car and walked over to the officer and told him what was going on. He moved his car over and they worked on trying to jump start my car for the next 15 to 20 mins. The bugs were biting like crazy but they keep working on it. Finally it started and the officer told us where to get gas. So we got back on the road and went to the gas station. When we got there we realize that the officer followed us to make sure we made it. I am very thankful for the Collier county sheriff's department, I am not sure what we would have done without them. So if you are going through Collier county or live there be assured you have get officers out there to help you out in the time of your need.
